Install KALI Linux in Window 11

How to install Kali Linux in Window 11 

OS - Window 11 64Bit

Step 1 - 

Search "cmd" for command prompt and Open as Administrator 

Enable Virtual machine platform using below command

dism.exe /online /enable-feature /featurename:VirtualMachinePlatform /all /norestart

Enable Microsoft-Windows-Subsystem-Linux

dism.exe /online /enable-feature /featurename:Microsoft-Windows-Subsystem-Linux /all

Press Y to Restart the machine 

Step 2 

Once restarted, Again open the Command prompt as Administrator, Download  WSL 2 Linux Kernel and Install using below command

wsl --update 

wsl --set-default-version 2

Method A - 

Here is the  following  list of valid distributions that can be installed, we are choosing kali linux 

wsl --list --online 

Install Kali linux 

wsl --install kali-linux 

Method B - 

Install  Kali Linux from the Microsoft Store:

Once install, Open it

It will open a command prompt for set the user name and password for Kali 

Once provide, kali is ready for use
